American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in New Mexico, welcoming first-time travelers with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting

Patient population includes stroke and post-surgical patients
-
Telemetry central monitoring tech available 24/7 — nurses are not required to independently interpret dysrhythmias

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00

Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week

Weekends required as needed
-
Floating within the facility is required

Epic EMR experience preferred

Active NM or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler

No travel pairs or groups accepted

Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation

Scrubs of any solid color are acceptable — no logos permitted
