Purpose:
Install, service, and maintain automatic gate systems and entry control technology—ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performing installations.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair various gate systems (automatic swing, sliding, barrier gates), operators, and access controls
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and troubleshooting to keep gates functioning properly
- Use hand and power tools safely—this includes welding, wiring, measuring, and mounting components
- Document job details, materials used, and time accurately for reporting purposes
- Communicate effectively—announce arrival, explain work performed, collect signatures, collect service fees, and follow through with clients
- Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles clean and safe; report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and uphold UL 325 and industry regulations
- Assist as needed with material ordering, stock management, and workplace housekeeping
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using tape measures, power and pneumatic tools, and diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues
- Experience with low-voltage systems, wiring, and intercom or access control tech is a plus
Physical & Work Environment
- Regularly works outdoors—requires stamina in extreme heat or cold
- Frequent lifting up to 90 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders or stairs
- Must possess physical stamina for long days on job sites
PPE Required
- Safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots
