Production Supervisor
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 1:30 PM–12:00 AM
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 Base + 15% Management Incentive Bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead operations within a manufacturing department. This position is responsible for overseeing a large production workforce while driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can effectively manage performance, navigate a diverse workforce, and drive accountability while maintaining a positive team culture.
Paint line experience is not required. Candidates with powder coating, industrial finishing, or similar manufacturing experience will receive strong consideration.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations to achieve production goals
- Supervise a large team of production employees
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance
- Manage employee performance, coaching, corrective actions, and development plans
- Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce development efforts
- Monitor production schedules and labor allocation
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, scheduling, and engineering teams
- Track departmental performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain compliance with quality and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Associate Degree preferred, though significant leadership experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Strong performance management experience
- Experience leading larger production teams
- Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience working within fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of powder coating systems or paint line operations is a plus
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles preferred
