Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Operations Supervisor/Assistant General Manager (AGM), where you'll lead the day-to-day operations of a vibrant hotel property. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily hotel operations across departments including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead and manage hospitality teams by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
- Oversee guest relations to ensure high satisfaction levels through personalized service and prompt resolution of issues.
- Manage hotel budgets related to hospitality operations, including controlling expenses and maximizing revenue opportunities through effective revenue management strategies.
- Coordinate night audit procedures to verify financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare daily financial reports.
- Implement human resources policies by assisting with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with employment laws.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries professionally while managing reservations and inquiries efficiently.
- Monitor hotel safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for staff and guests.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data, guest feedback, and industry trends to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality management practices including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and guest services.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
- Experience with hotel financial operations such as managing budgets, night audit procedures, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette standards.
- Previous resort or hotel experience is preferred for understanding complex hospitality environments.
