Role Description
We Auto is seeking an advanced and highly skilled Automotive Mechanic for a full-time, on-site position at our Baton Rouge, LA location. As a key team member, you’ll lead in performing advanced technical diagnostics and be able to use specialized tools to diagnose and remedy faults in complex equipment. Your ability to interpret schematics, solve complex problems, and uphold high-quality standards will drive our results-focused culture and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on pre-owned and new vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Perform precise vehicle alignments to meet safety and performance standards.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic issues.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, services, and parts used.
- Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair methodologies through ongoing training.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 10 years of auto technician or mechanic experience (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Completion of a trade school or mechanic training program (preferred).
- ASE Certification (required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in challenging conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
