Join our team! Employee-owned Windows & Doors By Brownell is hiring a Window & Door Service Technician with residential construction or carpentry experience. This role is ideal for someone who has installed, serviced, repaired or trimmed windows and doors or who brings a strong background in residential carpentry and remodeling. The ideal candidate is comfortable diagnosing issues in the field (or is willing to learn) and working directly in customers’ homes and active jobsites. Full-time year-round work with no weekends, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision benefits, plus 401K.

What You’ll Do:
- Inspect window and door products to find root cause of the service issues, assess damage, replace parts, and ensure proper function.
- Communicate with customers to address concerns, explain issues, ensure satisfaction, provide cost estimates, and explain procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of your work area and follow safety guidelines.
- Daily work includes completing daily assigned field service tasks, working closely with the Lead Service Technician and Service Manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- A commitment to safety and professionalism (pass a pre-employment drug test and physical).
- The ability to perform heavy physical demands, lifting 75lbs frequently.
- At least 1 year experience installing windows and doors or similar transferable experience in a related construction field. Technical experience to diagnose issues and define the difference between product and installation issues.
- Proficient using tools such as drills, saws, and levels.
