Job Description:
The Designer / Engineer produces drawings and renderings for our custom closets and custom cabinetry projects at the direction of the President. This position requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple workflows. Proficiency in Cabinet Vision and or AutoCAD or both, is critical to success as well as a thorough understanding of architectural and shop drawings specific to cabinetry and related design principles.
Specific Tasks:
· Assist in the sales process by producing drawings and presentations for client visualization
· Produce original shop drawings using Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD from site-survey measurements provided by the President and/or project manager
· Update drawings with field dimensions as necessary and prepare our production documents by coordinating with the field superintendent and the CNC operator.
Minimum Requirements for Application:
Drafting/Design - Proficiency in Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate thorough knowledge of custom cabinetry design principles, cabinet layout and
Resume of Past Projects – A list of past projects completed and your role in each project. Must include both references from both clients and supervisors for at least three projects.
