Salary: $175/day, flat rate. Weekly pay. + BONUS and Benefits.
Job Summary
Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a Non-CDL Driver in Spokane, WA. This role entails the delivery of auto parts.
Duties and responsibilities
- Touch freight – must be able to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work day shift, Monday to Friday 9:30pm-4:00am.
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
- Ability to chain up and drive through winter conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Exceptional customer contact and driving skills.
- Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leader and associates.
- Drivers will also be expected to systemically update orders via a handheld device.
- Drive a non-CDL vehicle – 26ft box trucks
- Communicate delivery updates to customers.
- Load the truck in an efficient manner for unloading and confirm customer orders.
- Climb in and out of delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day.
- Any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Valid, active Driver’s License.
- Must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience driving a box truck in a professional setting.
- MUST be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Background.
- Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen.
- Qualified candidates are self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment all with a positive attitude.
