Job Title: Project Manager
Department: TAMCO Project Services
Reports to: Senior Project Services Manager
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful execution of awarded business from purchase order receipt through project completion. This role ensures projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time while driving operational excellence, accountability, and customer satisfaction. As the Post-PO Lead, the PM serves as the internal owner of project execution and partners closely with Strategic Account Managers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Post-PO project execution team.
- Manage workload planning, resource allocation, and project prioritization.
- Oversee order processing, job tracking, release management, and delivery coordination.
- Drive issue resolution, change order management, and execution quality.
- Establish and improve standardized processes, handoffs, and performance reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product Teams, and Strategic Account Managers.
- Provide visibility into project status, risks, and execution performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase scalability and reduce execution errors.
Indicators of Success
- Revenue targets achieved.
- System error rate below 10%.
- On-time project completion above 80%.
- High Strategic Account Manager satisfaction.
- Strong customer satisfaction and execution quality.
- Effective Pre-PO to Post-PO handoffs.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in project management, project services, operations, or customer execution.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence across teams.
- Customer-focused with a passion for execution and process improvement.
- Experience in electrical distribution, lighting, construction, industrial, or project-based businesses preferred.
