Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Breakfast Host/Hostess to join our team. In this role, you will create a welcoming breakfast experience for our guests by preparing and maintaining our complimentary breakfast area while delivering outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and understands the importance of making every guest feel welcome.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and maintain the hotel's complimentary breakfast each morning.
- Keep all food, beverages, and supplies fully stocked, fresh, and presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary breakfast area throughout the shift.
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Refill coffee, juice, and other breakfast items as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns and notify management when appropriate.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly.
- Work cooperatively with all hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Assist in other hotel departments when needed.
- Follow all hotel safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs as needed.
- Must be able to perform the physical duties required to maintain the breakfast area safely and efficiently.
