Requisitos
- Mínimo 1 año de experiencia en cocina
- Entender la comida y la cultura latinoamericana y mexicana
- Poder entender y hablar español e inglés (no es necesario hablarlos con fluidez)
- Tener pasión por aprender a cocinar
- Tener ganas de aprender y crecer
- Poder soportar trabajo duro y mantenerse constante en un ambiente exigente
- Tener una actitud humilde y saber trabajar bien en equipo
- Ser flexible y poder adaptarse a cambios de horario
Responsabilidades principales
- Preparación de ingredientes y trabajo básico de prep
- Cocina básica y trabajo en la línea
- Ayudar con las operaciones de la cocina y mantener la limpieza
- Trabajar con el equipo para asegurar un servicio fluido
Se prefiere
- Experiencia en catering, banquetes o cocinas de alto volumen
- Experiencia con comida mexicana y latina
- Poder trabajar rápido y de manera ordenada

The Marquee Astoria is looking for kitchen staff to grow with our team.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience
- Understanding of Latin American and Mexican food and culture
- Able to understand and speak Spanish and English (does not have to be fluent.)
- Passionate about learning how to cook
- Eager to learn and grow
- Able to handle hard work and stay consistent in a demanding environment
- Humble attitude and able to work well with a team
- Flexible and able to adapt to schedule changes
Main Responsibilities
- Ingredient prep and basic kitchen prep work
- Basic cooking and line work
- Assisting with kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness
- Working with the team to ensure smooth service
Preferred
- Catering, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience
- Experience with Mexican and Latin cuisine
- Able to work quickly and neatly
