Owner Operator - Cargo Van, Straight Truck & Semi (Expedited Freight)
Job Summary
Teksages Express is seeking reliable owner operators who own and operate their own Cargo Van, Straight Truck, or Semi Truck to haul expedited freight throughout the United States.
We provide freight opportunities for owner operators who already have their own equipment. Drivers with their own operating authority are welcome, and we also offer opportunities for qualified owner operators to lease on under Teksages Express authority.
This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. We are looking for professional drivers who value safety, communication, and on-time service.
Responsibilities
Safely transport expedited freight.
Maintain communication with dispatch throughout each trip.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Pick up and deliver freight on time.
Follow all applicable FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies based on your vehicle type and operating arrangement.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Submit required paperwork and proof of delivery promptly.
Requirements
Must own and operate a Cargo Van, Straight Truck, or Semi Truck.
Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle operated (CDL required only when legally required).
Maintain the insurance, registration, and operating authority (when applicable) required for your operating arrangement.
Clean driving record.
Smartphone with GPS.
Ability to travel throughout the United States.
