Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Person to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting facility upgrades. Your expertise will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both residents and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance disciplines, ensuring our facilities run smoothly and reliably. While the job you would be applying for is for a temporary position, it could lead to full-time employment with great benefits. All applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screening upon request.
Responsibilities
- Helping to prepare vacant apartments for re-occupancy.
- Helping to complete work orders.
Experience
- On the job training provided, however some experience with painting, simple electricity (i.e. changing out wall receptacles and light fixtures) and plumbing (replacing water supply lines and setting and unclogging toilets), and cleaning would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and residents.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
