Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with assessments, IEPs, and MTSS processes
- Ability to work effectively across diverse school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Interpret assessment results and share actionable recommendations with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions
- Support the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in student support and crisis intervention as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff on best practices in learning and behavior strategies
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate for all students
