Belleview Valley Nursing Home is seeking a Certified Nurses Assistant for Day and Night shift.
Must be able to work rotating weekends and some holidays.
Pay negotiable upon years of experience.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Personal Care (ADLs): Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Mobility & Safety: Turning, repositioning, and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs to prevent pressure sores.
- Health Monitoring: Measuring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Nutrition: Serving meals, feeding residents, and monitoring food/fluid intake.
- Documentation: Reporting changes in physical or mental condition (e.g., injuries, behavior changes) to nurses.
- Environment & Maintenance: Changing bed linens, cleaning rooms, and ensuring a tidy, safe environment.
Physical Demands
- This is a physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting patients, often over 50 pounds
Requirements
- Must be a certified nurse aide (CNA) in the state of Missouri.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills to report to nurses and assist residents with, for example, dementia or sensory loss.
- Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
- Must be available to work every other weekend and some holidays.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
