We're looking for a Temporary Sewing Production Associate to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, has an eye for detail, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3–4 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
Sewing is one of the areas where Oxford Pennant's quality shows most. Every pennant, banner, and camp flag we make passes through the hands of our sewing team before it reaches customers around the world.

Essential Functions
- Sew and assemble products to specifications, including quality standards and accurate order counts, within established timelines.
- Evaluate and inspect the quality of finished products against specifications—for your own work and for other associates when needed.
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching, thread breaks, or machine malfunctions.
- Change needles and thread machines properly to maintain consistent production.
- Count and verify finished products based on order ticket specifications.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
- Observe all company safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Assist with additional production tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Understands sewing machine techniques and terminology, including bobbin, bobbin winder, presser foot, lever, and reverse lever.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment, monitoring your own work to ensure quality.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing sewing work.
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience
- Prior sewing experience and industrial machine operation in a production environment is highly preferred.
- Quality control experience in a production environment is a plus.
- Experience using Monday.com or other task/workflow management software is a plus.
