Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Orthopedics / Pain Management

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated "Physician Assistant (PA-C)" to join our growing Orthopedic and Pain Management practice.
- The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and spine-related conditions while working closely with experienced physicians.
- This is an excellent opportunity for experienced providers as well as motivated new graduates with a strong interest in orthopedics and pain management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
- Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive care.
- Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of Maryland regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care. Manage approximately "3 follow-up patient visits per hour.
- Participate in a limited on-call rotation (approximately 4 times per year).
Qualifications Required:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Active Maryland PA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Preferred "3–5 years of experience in Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
- New graduates with a strong interest in Orthopedics or Pain Management are encouraged to apply
Schedule: (Monday – Friday)
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
