The Plumbing Service Advisor serves as a trusted consultant to homeowners, helping them make informed decisions regarding their plumbing systems. This role works closely with our technicians and clients to identify problems, present solutions, and create an outstanding customer experience.
Our advisors don't use high-pressure sales tactics. Instead, they educate homeowners, provide multiple options, and help customers choose the solution that best fits their needs, goals, and budget.

What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners to evaluate plumbing concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options clearly and professionally.
- Build trust through education, communication, and exceptional customer service.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and create customers for life.
- Work alongside service technicians to develop solution-based recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and customer communications using company software.
- Generate referrals through outstanding service and relationship building.
- Participate in ongoing sales, communication, and technical training.
- Uphold the values and reputation of Mr. Dan's Plumbing in every customer interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of achieving goals or performance objectives.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to confidently conduct in-home consultations.
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and CRM software.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as customer needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales, customer service, or in-home consulting experience.
- Experience in plumbing, construction, home services, or related industries.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to homeowners.
- Residential Plumbing Knowledge is a plus, but not required.
