The Spanish A Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish Language and Literature teaching that enables pupils to develop sophisticated reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills. The role fosters a deep appreciation of language, literature and culture while preparing students to meet the expectations of the curriculum and achieve strong academic outcomes.
Working in line with the values and expectations of King’s College School Panama, the Spanish A Teacher creates a safe, ambitious and inclusive learning environment in which pupils can thrive as language learners. The role includes responsibility for planning and delivering a well-sequenced Spanish A curriculum, assessing pupil progress, promoting positive behaviour, contributing to the wider life of the school and working closely with colleagues and families to support every child’s development.
The role requires a specialist teacher who understands how children learn and who can adapt teaching effectively for pupils across a range of ages and stages, including children in different grade levels from Year 7 to Year 13. Ideally with experience teaching IGCSE and IB Spanish.
