As a Med Tech at Roxboro Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team of healthcare professionals. Med Techs are responsible for assisting with medical operations, providing support to our nursing staff, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.
About the Role:
Med Techs will assist with vital signs, wound care, and other medical procedures as needed
Provide support to our nursing staff with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
Help maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Med Tech certification or training preferred
Ability to lift and move residents as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
