Duties
- Prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and cooperation
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of the heart’s structure and function
- Monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations by analyzing images, recording findings, and preparing reports for physician review
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration records
Experience
- Proven experience in sonography with a focus on echocardiography or cardiovascular imaging
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation processes, and anatomy knowledge
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
