Do you love cooking, sharing your love for creativity with others or trying new recipes?
We're looking for cooking class instructors/hosts to do hands-on classes in the general Philly area. As a host, you'll lead Guests through the process of cooking at local venues that we host all our workshops at. We're looking for fun, hands-on workshops like Indian cooking, floral pasta, fall pasta, fresh tortilla and taco making, thai cooking, chinese noodle making, chocolate tart making, fermentation, canning, cookie and cake art etc. We're open to reviewing unique concepts!
How it works
You get step-by-step instructions on how to host a workshop from start to finish. Workshops are hosted at local venues like breweries, distilleries, and stores- that you would book directly through our site. You choose the weekends that work for you and book the venues you want on our site. Flexible options for getting supplies reimbursed if selected. You just need the passion to host—we’ll handle the rest. You choose an idea already on our site and go live in just minutes.
You will:
Host 2 workshops on a monthly basis.
Setup and host cooking workshops at Venues locally - booked directly on Hoamsy.
Ability to physically and verbally guide Guests through the process.
Address any questions as needed by Guests during an experience.
You are:
A strong communicator
Passionate about food/cooking and are excited to show others how to make something fun.
Each workshop is typically 2 hours long and requires arriving 30-40 minutes early to get setup, while paying $50-$75/hour for hosting as well as supply reimbursement.
Eligible for employment in the U.S.
Atleast 21+ years old
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
