We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist that will serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors entering the showroom. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional experience while providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily showroom operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome customers, vendors, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate team members.
- Manage the showroom reception area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist customers with general showroom inquiries and direct them to the appropriate sales manager or department.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain office and hospitality supplies, notifying management when replenishment is needed.
- Assist with customer issue resolution by coordinating with sales, service, and management teams.
- Maintain customer and visitor records accurately within company systems.
- Prepare beverages and refreshments for customers and guests when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a luxury retail, design, or showroom environment is a plus.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5pm
