Job Title: Warehouse Specialist
Summary:
We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our growing team. This position will oversee our inventory and ensure that daily orders are packaged, processed, and shipped quickly and accurately. Responsibilities include picking & packing, arranging product for transport, coordinating simple incoming quality control, maintaining & organizing inventory, and unloading incoming product. Candidate will need to work closely with remote sales staff via email & phone to ensure that content and details of each shipment is correct. Candidate needs to have prior experience working in a warehouse, be a strong team player, and ability to multitask and troubleshoot problems independently.
Hours: Full time; 7:00am – 3:30pm
Key Job Responsibilities:
Fulfill Daily Orders. Receive orders from sales team. Fulfill orders, pack items for shipment and coordinate & arrange delivery pickups. Work with parcel and freight providers to help select best shipping methods. Communicate tracking information with sales team in a timely manner. Follow up with parcel and freight company to follow up on any claims.
Manage and Maintain Stock. Manage and organize stock in a systematic, efficient, and safe manner.
Unload incoming shipments and ensure product count is accurate. Help sales team maintain inventory system with accurate information. Conduct annual stock counts. Help monitor and maintain packing material supplies.
Simple Incoming Quality Control. Work with team to conduct visual and simple dimension checks.
Inspect and repair incoming packaging. Work on re-crating and repacking certain items as needed.
Ensure that products and packaging are presented in a professional manner.
Assist sales and facility team as needed. Assist with various tasks around the warehouse.
Qualifications:
3+ years of warehouse experience.
Proficient knowledge of inventory management & controls.
Ability to operate forklift effectively.
Strong understanding of packing best practices.
Experience quoting freight and delivery service companies.
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods & ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficient computer skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Outstanding multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Available to work extended when needed.
Valid drivers' license.
