Position Overview
We’re hiring an Assistant Teacher for our Infant/Toddler program. You’ll support a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment using TLE’s L.E.A.P.® Curriculum and positive guidance practices.
Pay & Schedule
- $15.50–$18.50/hr (based on experience & credentials)
- Full‑time: Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Part‑time: Flexible shifts available
Responsibilities
- Classroom safety and active supervision
- Implement L.E.A.P.® Curriculum through play‑based learning
- Daily care routines (diapering, meals, rest time)
- Family communication via apps and conversations
- Positive guidance and emotional support
- Team collaboration with center staff
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma/GED

- 6+ months childcare experience
Meets Michigan Licensing requirements

Preferred:
ECE or related degree

- 1+ year experience in a licensed program
