Barista / Café Team Member – Part-Time
Cafe Vivella is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Part-Time Barista / Café Team Member to join our team in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh.
We are a warm, welcoming neighborhood café focused on quality coffee, fresh food, thoughtful service, and creating a great experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
Prepare espresso-based drinks, iced beverages, and other café drinks
Take customer orders and operate the POS system
Serve pastries, breakfast items, and café food
Provide friendly and attentive customer service
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Restock supplies and help with opening/closing duties
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Help keep the café welcoming, clean, and running smoothly
Work as part of a small team during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, positive, and comfortable interacting with customers
Reliable and punctual
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Willing to learn and take direction
Able to multitask and stay organized
Barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing normal café duties
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Afternoon and weekend availability is preferred. Scheduling may vary depending on the café’s needs.
