Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped with gasoline hauling tanks. Dependable employee who adheres to (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety protocols, including checking for leaks, proper load securement, and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Load and unload hazardous materials in adherence to hazardous materials regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently
- Deliver fuel to designated locations while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations on driving hours.
- Respond promptly to any on-road issues or emergencies, communicating effectively with dispatch and emergency responders when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on tanker or hazardous materials transport.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for tanker trucks, hazardous materials (HazMat), and air brakes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual transmission trucks
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks involved in cargo handling.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety; previous delivery driver experience is highly valued.

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
