Summary
As a Mechanical Designer at GK Machine Inc., you will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge machinery tailored for specialized applications. This position is essential to our mission of combining technology and tradition to deliver high-quality equipment that meets the growing demands of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create innovative solutions for custom equipment.
- Manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of designs and prototypes.
- Utilize logic controllers in system design for enhanced functionality.
- Participate in root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and implement improvements.
- Prepare detailed documentation for designs, specifications, and project updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably within manufacturing or equipment design.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed designs.
- Experience with FEA tools to analyze mechanical components.
- Knowledge of system design principles and project management techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in mechanical systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
