The SEM Team Lead is responsible for training, developing, implementing, and leading the organization's search engine marketing strategy to increase organic visibility, website traffic, paid ad performance, lead generation, and revenue growth and to improve search performance across all digital properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SEM specialists, including SEO/AIO and paid ads.
- Lead onboarding and training of new SEM staff.
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO & AIO strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO initiatives and provide update to management.
- Ensure paid ads are optimized for maximum conversions and monitor ad spends to ensure adherence to established budgets.
- Conduct weekly meetings with SEM team and attend weekly meetings with management.
- Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve SEO issues.
- Collaborate with web development teams to implement technical SEO & AIO improvements.
- Optimize website architecture, internal linking structures, and user experience factors impacting search performance.
- Develop content optimization strategies that improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implement local SEO efforts, including business listings, citations, and reputation management.
- Utilize SEO tools to track rankings, site health, traffic, and performance metrics. Report updates and findings to management weekly.
- Analyze organic search data and prepare regular performance reports for leadership.
- Coordinate with content marketing, social media, and web development teams to support integrated marketing initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate AI-powered SEO tools and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
- Identify and recommend training programs for SEM team to enhance and improve their performance.
- Establish SEO best practices, processes, and training materials for team members. Utilize and update existing SOPs that are in PLM’s Google drive.
- Support process improvement initiatives and help implement operational best practices.
- Identify operational issues and escalate or resolve them proactively.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
