Kent Place School seeks a warm, energetic, and highly detailed Admission and Financial Aid Officer to join a collaborative five-person team. In this role, you will lead the school's campus tour and visit programs, drive community outreach, and play a direct role in evaluating and selecting prospective students.
This is an ideal opportunity for an organized problem-solver and skilled communicator who thrives on building relationships with families from all backgrounds and is interested in growing a career in independent school enrollment management. This is a full-time, in-person, twelve-month position that reports to the Director of MiddleUpper School Admission/Director of Financial Aid.
Key Responsibilities

TourVisit Program Management

Oversee, schedule, and evaluate prospective and admitted student tour and visit programs across Primary, Middle, and Upper Schools.

Select, train, and coordinate student tour guides and hosts; lead student ambassador leadership initiatives (e.g., Green Key sub-committees).

Give campus tours as needed across all divisions.

Event SupportOperations

Partner with team leadership to plan and execute in-person and virtual recruitment events (Open Houses, Preview Days, Information Sessions), including occasional evening and weekend hours.

Manage event logistics and weekly visit schedules.

Community OutreachAdmissions

Partner internally with Athletics, Ethics, Performing Arts, and the Girls Leadership Institute to drive target recruitment.

Maintain and build relationships with access organizations (e.g., A Better Chance, SEEDS) and represent Kent Place at local school fairs.

Conduct applicant interviews, administer Primary School screenings, evaluate applications, and serve as a voting member on admission committees.

Support the annual advertising plan and marketing materials distribution.
QualificationsRequirements

EducationExperience: Bachelor's degree required. 1–3 years of experience in enrollment/admissions, financial aid, marketing, or communications within a school or non-profit setting.

InterpersonalCultural Competency: Exceptional written, verbal, and phone skills; demonstrated ability to engage meaningfully with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Suite (Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Slides, Gemini) and comfort with admission/data management software.

Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving, high discretion with confidential data, and a collaborative, customer-service mindset.

Knowledge: Understanding of independent school processes and the unique benefits of an all-girls educational environment.
