The Director of STEM Internships is seeking a student who wants to gain experience in a professional office and learn about the job market. Eligible students must be reliable and able to use written communication effectively. Student will research articles to share with students about current hiring trends, interview tips, and resume-writing skills.
Duties to include but are not limited to researching job openings each week and creating a list of job openings for our IT and manufacturing students. Tasks can be completed remotely; hours are very flexible.
Student must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
Student must be reliable, professional, and able to work in a confidential environment.
The student will be mentored in how to research for jobs and will learn tips on seeking entry-level positions, internships and apprenticeships, government jobs, and in-person and remote jobs.
This position provides students with hands-on experience that can be included on a resume.
