Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping produce
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food production
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Culinary or food service background is a plus
- Comfortable working with knives and kitchen equipment
- Experience in the food industry, catering, or as a dietary aide is beneficial
