Position Summary
CLG is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for inspecting glass products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
Safety is a top priority, and team members must follow all company safety procedures while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Glass industry experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to identify product defects and maintain high quality standards.
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer and documentation skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect tempered, insulated, fabricated, cut, laminated, mirrored, and seamed glass for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Identify defects such as scratches, chips, cracks, edge damage, distortion, and dimensional inaccuracies.
- Verify product dimensions and specifications using measuring tools.
- Document inspection results and report non-conforming products.
- Work closely with production personnel to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements before shipment.
- Follow all company quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist in root cause analysis of quality issues, participate in corrective actions, and contribute to continuous process improvements within the manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and move glass products weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable handling large glass products while following safe material handling practices.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
