Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their wireless needs through active listening and engaging conversations
- Demonstrate mobile devices, accessories, and related products to highlight features and benefits through compelling product demos
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote or over-the-phone inquiries, ensuring clear communication
- Educate customers on retail store product knowledge, including features of various wireless plans and devices
- Manage retail math accurately for transactions, including cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for technology is a plus!
- Supervising experience in a retail or sales environment is advantageous for leadership opportunities
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos will help create engaging displays that attract customers
