Duties
- Measure, cut, and assemble gutter components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to ensure precise fit and function
- Install gutters, downspouts, brackets, and related hardware on various building types.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing gutter systems to extend their lifespan and improve performance
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large or bulky materials such as metal or vinyl gutters
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate tasks efficiently and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
- Familiarity with roofing systems, masonry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, stucco, tile laying, plumbing, welding, masonry restoration or remodeling is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans based on site conditions or unforeseen challenges
