IFS INDUSTRIES a leading manufacturer of adhesives has an immediate full-time opening for a dependable Material Handler at our Reading, PA location.
Walk-in- Interviews - Monday thru Thursday 11am - 3pm

Essential Functions:
- Loading and unloading product/materials
- Forklift operation in the manufacturing environment.
- Completing final packaging and prepping of finished goods for shipment
- Utilizing MRP system to move material electronically.
- Effectively communicate to management and leads of any issues.
- Exhibit sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Maintain an accurate inventory while minimizing waste.
- Ensure excellent housekeeping and organization of all work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have sit-down forklift experience.
- Learn to use and operate scan guns to report and control inventories.
- Effective communication (speak, read, and write English)
- Must successfully complete all required safety training and follow all safety guidelines and processes to ensure safety, quality, and service.
- Possess minimum math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear required safety PPE.
- Unrestricted ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and twist.
- Ability to continuously pull, push, and/or lift up to 55 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and a wide range of temperatures.
- Noise level is usually loud.
- Will be working in an unregulated temperature environment.
