Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and brushing surfaces to keep pools pristine.
- Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper water quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct inspections of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and system conditions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to chemical handling, water treatment, and outdoor work environments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot pool equipment problems effectively.
- Familiarity with pool plumbing systems and water treatment chemical handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or facility staff.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous due to the nature of the role’s environment.
- Valid driver’s license with truck transportation.
