Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces across all areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting high-touch areas regularly and following health guidelines meticulously.
- Assist with janitorial tasks including waste removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to sanitation standards and cleanliness protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and residents.
- Basic knowledge of laundry procedures and handling delicate fabrics with care.
- Prior janitorial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
