Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service while managing lawn mower sales and parts ordering transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly
- Gain knowledge of Exmark, Cub Cadet and Scag Lawn Mowers
- Be able to help with customers part requests as needed
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring accuracy in cash handling
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Answer phones
Qualifications
- Previous experience not necessary
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities
