Security Officer - FT Emergency Room Patrol

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and reporting security-related concerns.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while assisting with directions, information, and general support for visitors and staff.

Document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
-
Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be willing and able to restrain individuals when necessary.

Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
