We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. Duties
- Experience using paint sprayers
- Spray interior and exterior surfaces with a clean, professional finish
- Active, reliable, and proactive
- Able to take initiative without constant supervision
- Work efficiently and keep the jobsite clean
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and durability.
- Execute a variety of painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (airless and conventional), and structural coating applications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, and scaffolding or ladders safely to reach high or difficult areas while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform surface repairs such as stucco patching, fixture installation, and remodeling tasks as needed during projects.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, surface preparation, and application of various coatings in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as renovation, maintenance, drywall finishing, and fixture installation.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for precise project execution.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding equipment safely.
- Understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting environments including respiratory protection protocols.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations related to coating coverage and material quantities.
- Additional handyman skills such as caulking, stucco application, remodeling work or fixture installation are advantageous.
