To guide and support the front desk operations. The position is responsible for scheduling, coaching and directing a team of 9-12 employees. You must learn and implement the Marriott’s and company’s standards as well as policies and enforce at the front desk. We need an individual who is outgoing, friendly, professional and comfortable with problem solving. Must be a strong team leader and work well under pressure. This position reports to AGM and General Manager. Candidate must be flexible for all shifts, AM/ PM including overnight/weekends.Job Responsibilities Oversee the front desk staff to ensure optimal guest experience and smooth front desk operation. Stepping in, you will need to attend to guest needs at the front desk. You will be required to assist with opening and closing housekeeping department. Inspecting rooms for make ready is a requirement as a supervisor.
You must know the property layout and understand emergency procedures Create an environment where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best, and advance. Oversee a team of diversity and motivate the desk agents by setting the example. Monitor hours, training and progress of employees. Must be able to communicate with other departments in a professional and kind manner, to increase team efficiency and overall productivity Delegate tasks and assign projects to ensure the growth of our agents Must be detail oriented and help with security by walking grounds and being alert at all times Must be able to balance a cash drawer and work diligently with guests billing Provide the upmost respect and appreciation for your guests Monitor building and any concerns brought to the attention of staff. Complete daily checklists and report any issues/concerns to management. Must lead by example and have excellent work ethics.
Front desk experience is required at least 2 years.
Fosse knowledge is preferred not required
Spanish speaking is appreciated not required
Must be flexible to work all shifts as needed.
