Purpose: The Technical Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods from ACF to customers by coordinating shipments, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery. This position will also be responsible for preparation, configuration, and repair of ACF equipment. The position will work with internal customers to provide logistical and technical solutions with great customer service being the focus.
This position works primarily in our warehouse located in Fletcher, NC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure ACF products prior to shipment to customers
- Test and QA equipment; including new and returned items
- Assist in performing inventory counts ensuring accuracy
- Work with Purchasing to maintain a base inventory level and fulfill orders
- Prepare, ship and receive ACF products
- Maintain electronic and hard copy trails of shipped products
- Work within company policies & project deadlines to ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Provide exceptional Customer Service to internal and external customers
- Assist in resolving delivery issues
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processing

Qualifications – Required Experience, Competencies and Education:
- Must have at least one year’s experience in a role that has prior experience or training/education with the technical aspect of computer software and hardware. Must have basic familiarity with the technical workings of computer equipment and peripherals such as hard drives, networking and operating systems (OS).
- Technically competent with ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft products.
- Prefer experience with advanced computer system troubleshooting
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to positively represent the company in customer presentations covering operational and technical program aspects.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending and reaching for objects.
- Must have good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for reading documents.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds frequently.
