Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including passenger vans, buses, or limousines, along designated routes within the hotel premises and nearby areas.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking, ensuring smooth and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of shuttle vehicles to ensure optimal operation and appearance.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during all driving activities.
- Communicate effectively with guests, hotel staff, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking fuel levels, brakes, lights, and tires.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage assistance or vehicle maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a shuttle driver with a strong focus on passenger safety and customer service.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., passenger van license or bus driver certification).
- Experience operating a passenger shuttle van.
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to safety protocols.
