The caseload is flexible, giving you the ability to tailor your focus and interventions for optimal student growth. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting IEP assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and working alongside other school professionals to support student success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete IEP assessments and contribute to meetings
- Carry out direct and consultative therapy services for elementary-age students
- Manage a manageable, flexible caseload based on student needs
- Facilitate the smooth transfer of responsibilities and caseload from current SLP
- Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
