The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist (PT) is to plan, delegate, and provide safe and competent physical therapy interventions as ordered by physician. In this role, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our patients at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy and other specialized techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide acute care services
