About the Role
Jenwey Tea is a luxury tea house supplying five-star hotels, resorts, and private clubs. Our Dracut warehouse is where every blend is flavored, mixed, and prepared before it ships. We are hiring one dependable, self-directed person to run that floor two days a week.
This is not a supervised assembly job. You arrive, check the production board, and work it independently: mixing and flavoring blends, rotating stock, breaking down deliveries, and leaving the warehouse clean and organized. If you need someone standing over you, this is not the role. If you take pride in running a tight, orderly space on your own, we want to meet you.
Schedule
Two shifts per week, 3 to 4 hours each. 6 to 10 hours per week total. Daytime, flexible on which days.
Physical Requirements
This is physically demanding work for the full length of every shift. Please read this section carefully before applying.
- Repeatedly lifting, carrying, and stacking boxes weighing 30 to 50 lbs
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling for the entire 3 to 4 hour shift
- Pushing and pulling loaded carts and breaking down full pallets
- Sustained scooping, stirring, and pouring while blending and flavoring batches up to 50 lbs
- Using a step stool or ladder to reach upper stock shelving
- Working in a warehouse that is not climate controlled, around strong tea and flavoring aromas
Responsibilities
- Flavor tea leaves in batches up to 50 lbs per box
- Mix and blend teas in batches up to 50 lbs per box
- Lift, move, and organize boxes weighing 30 to 50 lbs
- Check the production board at the start of every shift and work the list independently
- Rotate stock and keep inventory lists accurate and current
- Break down incoming pallets and large deliveries, remove trash, flatten and dispose of packaging
- Light warehouse work: sweeping, wiping down surfaces, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience (required)
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs comfortably and repeatedly
- Own reliable transportation (required)
- Professional references (required, and they will be checked)
- Highly independent, reliable, and consistent. You show up when you say you will.
- Comfortable working alone
- Attention to detail. Blends are measured and recorded precisely.
