Helping to oversee daily food production and prep for high-volume catering events
RSVP Catering is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to help oversee daily operations within our high-volume catering production facility. This role is a partnership with our Executive Chef and is responsible for helping to manage kitchen staff, production flow, sanitation, inventory, and large-scale event prep for corporate events, weddings, galas, and off-premise catering throughout the DMV region.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has experience managing large production teams and multi-event culinary operations.
Responsibilities to include
- Help manage kitchen staff scheduling, labor, and workflow
- Ensure timely execution of production schedules and event readiness
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Enforce all sanitation, HACCP, and food safety procedures
- Monitor inventory, receiving, storage, and kitchen organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high volume kitchen management or large-scale catering experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience managing high-volume production kitchens
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Catering experience strongly preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
