Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations across talent management, employee relations, and compliance. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive workplace environment and streamline HR processes.
Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition activities, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and supporting recruiting efforts.
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions and onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly.
- Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by gathering data and maintaining records.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) administration, and workers' compensation claims.
- Aid in compliance management by ensuring adherence to employment laws such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and HR legal standards.
- Contribute to HR projects related to organizational design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and workforce management strategies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human capital management, change management, and talent acquisition processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective employee relations and training delivery.
- Experience with payroll processing tools like ADP is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data using Excel for HR metrics and reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law compliance, including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data collection, contracts management, and social media management related to employer branding.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
