Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met across all areas.
- Conduct floor cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care.
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces by dusting, wiping down furniture, fixtures, and appliances regularly.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning and light landscaping tasks if required.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service while managing time efficiently to complete all assigned duties.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies when necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout each shift.
- Familiarity with outdoor work procedures and residential housekeeping standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences or concerns.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a hygienic environment in both indoor and outdoor settings.
